Return PolicyIf you would like to exchange or return a stock item purchased in the last 15 business days, you will need to request a Return Authorization (RA) number (note: custom orders are not eligible for return or exchange – please see below for more information). After submitting your return request, we will review the information and forward on via email with a RA number and instructions for returning the item. Please do not return items to our Lafayette address without prior authorization as some returns may have to be shipped back directly to our suppliers. Restock Fee: Some products will incur a 15-25% restocking fee for returns on items that are not defective. Your RA request acknowledgement sent via email will with include total refund due + shipping costs. All custom items (see below) are final sale. Please note that items shipped back to us without a return authorization number will not be accepted and will be returned to you at your cost. All items must be returned in their original, unworn and unused condition enclosed in original packaging within 15 days for a refund or exchange. Returned items should be free from any wear, dirt and debris including pet hair and dander. All returned items will be photographed upon receipt at our Lafayette address. In the event an item is returned in a condition where it cannot be resold, the order will be sent back to you and additional shipping charges will apply. Shipping, handling and gift-wrap fees are non-refundable. We offer free shipping on some items including consignment. If for any reason you need to return an item with free shipping, the refund you receive will be for the item price minus the standard shipping cost. Standard shipping costs are based on item prices as outlined within our shipping information. If you opt to exchange your free shipping purchase for another item that also had free shipping, a standard shipping charge will be added to cover our costs. Final sale and Consignement items are not eligible for return or exchange. Furniture, bedding, lighting, personalized and custom items: Custom orders and pieces are not returnable or refundable unless damaged and such damage is reported within 2 business days of delivery .Furniture damages must be reported to delivery or freight compnay at time of delivery. Custom orders include (but are not limited to) any furniture item, all personalized or monogrammed items, custom jewelry, Bella Notte Linens®. All hotel arrangments, restaurant visits, trip and spa packages are the responsibility of the purveyor. If you are at all uncertain if what you are ordering is considered custom, please contact us to verify. You have 2 business days from the date your custom order was placed to cancel a custom order and to have the amount refunded to your credit card. Cancellations must be emailed to orders@bodaciouscompany.com with return acknowledgement made within 2 business days via email. After 2 days all custom orders are non-refundable. In the event a custom order item is no longer unavailable The Bodacious Company LLC will notify you within 5 business days of receipt of notice from the manufacturer, supplier or manufacturer’s rep; at such time The Bodacious Company LLC will offer options, if available which may include substitution for unavailable item only. We will remain patient in your reselection process, however The Bodacious Company LLC needs decision on the balance of items ordered, if applicable, within 2 business days. Delivery: The Bodacious Company LLC does everything possible to assure a smooth and prompt delivery of your furniture, custom jewelry, custom bedding and non-custom items. However, please be aware and consider that there are circumstances out of our control that may arise and result in a delay in the production or delivery of your items. We do our best to give accurate lead times for each order, however estimated lead times are not a guarantee of a specific delivery date. We welcome your inquiries as the estimated delivery time approaches and we follow up to give you a more specific idea of your ship date at that time as the date approaches. Also note that shipping time for freight items (this includes, furniture, lighting and custom bedding) is approximately 7-15 business days from the time that the item(s) are scheduled for pickup from our manufacturer. With the economy and fossil fuel costs being what they are, many freight lines are waiting fuller loads before transport. Who could blame them. In order to maintain reasonable freight charges with customers, The Bodacious Company LLC acts as your liaison to best assist you in a prompt delivery; there are variables that are out of our control as we are considered a third part in the delivery process. Color note: With custom bedding and fabrics, many dyes take differently based on fabric content. This is one of the many distinct variables that make custom bedding and fabrics so luxurious. The Bodacious Company LLC cannot guarantee color match from order to order based on this premises nor do we guarantee fabric content will dye-match exactly from piece to piece; with Bella Notte® your order is custom dyed in the same dye lot. Also, because every computer monitor displays color differently, we cannot be responsible for variations between the actual product color and how it is displayed on your computer screen or other electroic devise..
